(bottle, courtesy of Papsoe) Hazy, murky golden colour with loads of floaties and a mid-sized foamy white head. Dusty, sweet and sour-fruity nose with coriander spice, liquorice and notes of alcohol. Sweet flavour, full bodied with a soft carbonation. Pale malt-character, subtle fruity taste with spices; sweet and quite lasting finish with a present but non-disturbing alcohoolic burn (23.04.08).

Cloudy gold, rocky head. Citrus aroma. Very Duvel-lie, deceivingly easy to drink.
The yeast residue in the bottle was very off-putting, should be reconsidered.

Aug 9, 2008 (6/29/08) Bottle sample at RBESG08 grand tasting in Plzen. Cloudy yellow-golden. Aroma is quite yeasty with some fruit, spices and light alcohol notes. Flavor starts a bit sweetish, but quickly turns dry and yeasty with some fruits and hints of hops in the finish. Medium-bodied.

Jun 30, 2008 Bottled @ Aarhus beerfestival 2008. (And later also at home) Aroma is yeasty, citric and a bit spicy. Hazy, yellow coloured with a lasting offwhite head. Taste is a little bitter, citric, cheesy and yeasty. Bit sharp and carbonated.
