sayravai (2993), Helsinki, Finland Apr 12, 2008 (Bottled) Very hazy golden-amber with a largeish, foamy head. Sweetish, orange-fruity, yeasty, ginger, coriander. Slightly acidic, but extremely fruity flavor with slight alcohol hints, and a mildly acidic, dry finish. Medium to full-bodied, slightly foamy-carbonated palate. A very true to the style, very fruity, balancedly spicy and acidic, beautiful triple.
skortila (2355), Bunnik, Netherlands Jun 30, 2008 Bottled @ Aarhus beerfestival 2008. (And later also at home) Aroma is yeasty, citric and a bit spicy. Hazy, yellow coloured with a lasting offwhite head. Taste is a little bitter, citric, cheesy and yeasty. Bit sharp and carbonated. larsga (2098), Oslo, Norway Jun 15, 2008 Huge deep offwhite lasting head. Hazy opaque orange body. Spicy peppery aroma with thin fruity citric notes. Soft peppery spicy taste with light malty tropical fruity citric notes. Dry intense fruity peppery aftertaste with alcohol traces and sharp hops. Some alcohol heat. Sharpish mouthfeel, palate is a bit confused. Good! (0.5l bottle from gr0ve.) Gr0ve (1082), Oslo, Norway Jun 14, 2008 500 ml bottle. Golden. Clear in the bottle, but extremely high carbonation turned it into a gusher causing it to end up cloudy. Tall fine-laced white head that clings to the glass. The beer looks really nice. Spicy aroma with pepper and Belgian yeast. Some citrus. Bready, and a bit peach-like. Very high carbonation level (obviously). This is definitiely a tripel. Papery texture with yeast. Sharp and strong hop bitterness. The hops are neutral, and likely noble hops. Finish is not that bitter as the beer does not leave that much lingering bitterness as upfront. the alcohol is definitiely there as it provides a soothing warmth. EHSRanders (654), Randers C, Denmark Jun 2, 2008 Bottle. Hazy golden colour with small creamy white mostly lasting head. Fruity aroma. Sweet fruity flavor. caesar (2444), Zeist, Netherlands May 24, 2008 Bottle @ Aarhus beerfestival 2008. Cloudy golden color, short head. Aroma of spicy triple, belgian styled. Quite hoppy as well though, which is not quite common in belgian brews. Reasonable bitter taste, spicy.
