Commercial Description:

English: It is said that behind every tough, blunt, and brutal man stands a chaste, loving, and not least wise woman, which naturally applies in the beer world as well. As our most famous beer; Hr. Frederiksen, is a strapping fellow who enjoys admiring his own muscles, Mrs. Frederiksen is a clever woman who very well knows that you can walk almost just as far by saving some of your energy even though you are not as strong. The lady, however, is not exactly a light beer, but is toned down a notch compared to the gentleman. Being a little sweeter and not so roasted although having plenty of black malt, chocolate malt, and roasted barley, she is actually not a petite girl. And note that the Centennial hops lash out at you with their 75 IBU.
Welcome the lady – she is here to stay.

Bottle. High lasting creamy brown head. Held towards my lamp I could see a rim light at the bottom revealing this beer as very dark red brown. Without the lamp I would have judged it as black. Creamy and pleasant roasted malt coffee choccolate hops aroma. Surprisingly heavily carbonated and a bit metallic roasted malt coffee choccolate flavor with a fair and long lasting bitter finish.

Bottle@Home. Very strong, even intense aroma. What a looker! Black coloured, brown head, great lace. On the sweet side, very malty, great balance, so flavourful. Soft and full. Maybe a bit too sweet but has all I like in a Stout.

Bottled. Almost pitch black. Cream, cappucino and licorice in the aroma. Creamy mouthfeel, yet a firm roasty flavor with cappucino, licorice and laurel. A well integrated roastbitterness. Well balanced, elegant stout.

Bottle. Raisins, roasted malt, dark chocolate in aroma. Very dark brown colour with brown head. Ripe fruits in flavour elegantly mixed with hops bitterness and discrete chocolate. Hence, more elegang than Hr. Frederiksen. soft mouthfeel with moderate carbonation.

Very dark brown with a medium brown head. Aroma holds notes of roasted malts, vanilla and lots of sweet chocolate. Sticky palate, sweet and smooth flavor, very very delicate with a decent hop bitterness and some roasted bitterness in the finish aswell.

Black colored with medium sized beige head. Rich creamy aroma with roasted coffee, vanilla and oak, well, for stout, what can I say, excellent one. Medium to full bodied. Flavor is even richer: roastiness and vanilla dominates, licorice and mild vanilla also here. Aftertaste dries with fine hops. Well, I could go with IS here, excellent as stout.

Black. Minimal head. Big chocolate and big coffee aroma and nutty too. Really nice. Big and thick but balanced. Dry, nutty finish. Quality stout.
