(Bottled) Very hazy dark brown with a smallish, firm head. Dried-fruity, malty aroma with lots of hops and hints of alcohol. Dark fruit, lots of malt, decent hops, some alcohol - but unfortunately also some sourness (due to lactic fermentation?). Medium to full-bodied, lowish carbonation. Seems like this was a bit spoiled.

Aug 9, 2008 (6/29/08) Bottle sample at RBESG08 grand tasting in Plzen. Brown-colored. Aroma of some roasted malt and alcohol. Sweet malty flavor with some nutty notes and light fruitiness and a bit of roastiness, alcohol and some hop notes in the finish. Quite nice.

Jul 7, 2008 Sampled at the RBESG08 grand tasting. Shady copper with medium beige head. Fruity and caramelly malt aroma with citric hops and some roasted notes. Medium bodied and smooth. Dry with moderate bitterness.

Jul 1, 2008 Bottled. Pours a very dark brown with a tanned head. Full bodied. Kinda hoppy sour. Low to medium carbonation. Bitter finish.

Jun 29, 2008 Bottled. Dark amber coloured. Unclear. Small brown head. Chocolate, brown sugar, sweetness and some fruits in the aroma. Flavour of fruits, light herbs, spice and brown sugar. Some carmelly notes. Medium bodied. Dry. Light bitter sweetness in the end. Quite easy to drink.
