Jan 22, 2008 Bottled. A pitch black beer with a brown head. The aroma is sweet mlaty with strong notes of hops - giving it some citrus notes, but also quite strong notes of chocolate. The flavor is sweet malty with primary notes of citrusy hops and hard roasted malt, leading to a dry bitter finish. nice.

Jul 7, 2008 Bottled at RBESG. Very black with rich beige head. Aroma of grapefruit and licorice. Full bodied, yet not too overpowering. Drysih with lots of licorice. With it’s rich body and relative softness the masiev bitterness seem quite in place. A light touch of ink may be there, but it’s still drinkable and enjoyable all the way.

Jan 13, 2008 (Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of Storm. Pours black as mortal sin with the most fantastic, dense and creamy, light brown head. Amazing aroma of coffee and vanilla. Very full-bodied with rich accents of coffee and bitter chocolate with a bitterness that gradually buids up to be very dominant on the palate. Both malt bitter and bitter from the Zeus hops that seem to play quite a main rolle in this. Impressive. 160907

Jan 13, 2008 50 cL bottle, batch 65 (attempt number 65 at their Imperial Stout? I guess so, they don’t always seem to know what they are doing with their imp. stouts). Pours black and with a dense light brown lasting head. No yeast at bottom. Roasted, coffee and dark chocolate aroma. Full bodied. Flavour is smooth chocolate with hardroasted note mixing inbetween. Has a soft berry fruity note to it as well. Lingering chocolate and dark coffee into the finish, quite smooth and not as much liqourice as previously, and far from the vanilla heavy version I remember.
50 cL bottle, test brew. Pours very dark brown with light brown head. Sweet fruity/yeasty aroma. Liqourice, mild liqourice and chocolate. Flavour is thick liqourice and chocolate. Finish is strong elements of the same. Thick brew, alcohol presence.6-4-8-4-15=3.7

Very roasted aroma of chocolate, liquorice and hops with notes of yeast.
Roasted flavour of hops, liquorice and chocoalte.
Dry hoppy and roasted finish.
The hops are too dominating.
