Commercial Description:

Orange colour and unclear. White head, fully lasting. Hoppy aroma, pine, spicy, metallic notes. Flavor is heavy, harsh bitter, lots of flavor. Dry texture, full body.

Bottle from Beers of Europe, consumed 26-12-09 Pours amber but quite cloudy, head was white. Aroma is hoppy but not really massively so, taste is hoppy there are also some soft fruit, peach/nectarine and the like, little dry its fruity the alcohol is quite well hidden but yer now I was quite dissapointed by this, no sharp crisp bite, no fresh zingy aroma its just seemed to lack in all areas for me. Bottle. Muddy brown beer with a strong head. The aroma is very well hopped and malty, and the flavour is also deeply hopped, and very very dry with a malty body to it. Overall a very nice strong well hopped beer.

Bottle. Golden color. Melon, grapefruit and citric hops in the aroma. Malty flavor with grassy citric hops, red berries and grapefruit. Hints of alcohol. Relatively short aftertaste, but a nice well balanced hoppy ale.

It’s unclear, dark orange with a huge, creamy head. The aroma has notes of citrus (mostly the orange ones), exotic fruit and spruce. The flavor has a light sweetness and notes of citrus, malt, caramel, spruce, fruit and the finish has a nice, hoppy bitterness.

Pours a transparent bright golden with a spotty-lacing froth of white head. Aroma of herbal grassy earthy green resiny hops with some lightly sweet pale malty character. Starts with good full pale malty sweetness and herbal citrusy hop balance before a drier crisp bittersweet finish. A pretty well balanced double IPA.

Bottle shared at the DC Local tasting. Slightly hazy, pale orange with a creamy white head. Strong aroma of pine, woody, also sweet. Flavor is sweet, caramel, cookie dough, grassy, citrus, slight soap. Finish is slightly sticky. No offense, but Americans do DIPAs the best.

Bottle. Viscous orange amber with a rocky dense foam. Aromas are woody and floral with pine and nice medicinal notes. Spiced oranges with grapefruit. Flavours are base caramel malts with bitter pine and grapefruit. Spicy and peppery on the finish with warming but not aggressive alcohol. Nice.
