Dec 29, 2009 On tap at Iron Barley. Pour is clear light golden color with medium white head. Aroma is light cookie malt, light honey, faint hop, and bakers yeast. Flavor is a sweet malt up front with a nice balancing dose of yeast near the end to balance it all out. Finish is lightly malty and yeasty. A nice flavorful yet light brew.

Nov 1, 2009 Sampled on draught during Great Taste of Midwest 2009 in Madison Wisconsin. Pours a semi-clear golden yellow colored brew with a thin white head that quickly dissipates to a thin white ring. Aroma of golden grain malt, some light fruit, pears, citrus zest and a touch of peach. Taste is light to medium bodied, some carbonation with flavors of golden grain malt with some citrus zest-like hops, a touch of pear and some light lemon. Finish is a little gritty but has a nice golden grain with a hint of citrus aftertaste. A solid Helles Lager overall.

Jul 14, 2009 Pours hazy yellow with a white head - I don’t think any filtering happened with this one. The aroma has pale malt, light creaminess and light fruit (pear?). Medium body that’s smooth and creamy for the style. The taste starts off with pale malt, nectar fruit, graininess, slightly creamy and very lagered taste. The finish has slightly more fruitiness and some spiciness. A good helles.

Jun 7, 2009 Sampled at the Brewpub the day after it became available. A golden light brown lager. Flavor and aroma were grainy and malty. A bit of fruit. Refreshing and easy to drink.

Jun 6, 2009 Sampled at the St Louis Brewers Heritage Festival 2009. Pours an extemely pale cloudy yellow, almost white. Taste is refreshing, but with very little flavor notes. Some citrus and bread dough. Well balanced and a great lawn mower/session, but not much flavor.
