Bottle from Whole Foods on East Houston (NYC). Not bad. Poured a red-orange with a firm yet light white head. Aroma is lots of malt with some sweetness - honey, fruits. Flavor is very alcoholic with caramel notes. Mild dryness and bitterness. Lingering taste of alcohol.

Bottle from Wine and Cheese. Pours lightly hazy amber with virtually no head. Aromas of very roasted malt and something like tobacco. Near fully bodied with very mild carbonation. Flavor is caramel, with a cola aspect, and enough bitter to make it palatable. That’s a very poor description of a beer that’s smooth and quite drinkable. There is no trace of heat. Just realized this is 10%. Comes very close to barley wine. Pretty tasty beer.

500ml Bottle: Aroma of coffee, chocolate, toffee, and some sourness. Poured amber/orange in color with a small, dense, off-white head that lasted throughout. Cloudy. Lightly sparkling. Full of tiny, and a few small, particles throughout. Flavor is lightly sweet. Tastes of malts, light chocolate, light nuts, , toffee, and hint of medicine and alcohol. Medium body. Lightly dry texture. Average carbonation. Malt, slight toffee, and hint of alcohol finish. 10%ABV is barely noticeable.

Bottle. Sweet peach, orange, barley malt aroma with a hint of hops. Reddish amber color with minimal head. Sweet peach/apple and moderate bitter citric hops flavor. Palate is pretty light. A nice tasting beer but I would like more body.

Best Amarcord beer hands down...that isn’t saying a whole lot. Nose of honey, peach, apple juice, meade. Tastes nutty, sweet, with a slightly bitter finish. Malt
