Commercial Description:
Note that the label says "Special Imported Ale", but this is clearly a pilsner style lager. The "NB" stands for "Naturally Brewed", and research shows that it contains rice. This beer does not appear to be available in Thailand but is still available in export markets.

Green bottle 330 ml
Appearance :Pale golden look with short lived top leaving only fragmental white ring 1+
Nose : Oxidized aromas due to poor choice of bottle color. Beyond that citric, grassy nose with plain sweet malt base.4-
Flavour/Palate : Medium light bodied, some malt decency shown. Medium carbonation .Light grassy, herbal hop side. Chewy finish. Soft lager that is blend of Euro-Asian influences with greater deal of the latter one.

330ml bottle. Pours a golden yellow with a nice sized white head. Leaves some decent lacing. Aroma of grassy hops and hay with a tiny citrus note. Flavour is of similar hops with a fair bit of sweet malts. A little unbalanced for me. Finish is sticky sweet with a tiny bitterness hidden beneath. Defiantly not a fav.

Grainy skunked aroma with a light grassy hoppiness. Slightly unfermented wort taste. Tastes rather clean, not crisp like most pilsners, kinda flat on the palate siding more towards sweet. Slight metalic and medicinal aftertaste. Pours very light straw gold with a tall white head. Overall, not my taste for a pilsner, but not a bad beer. Wish this wasn’t so light-struck.

Light gold with a decent and foamy head. Normal grassy and husky aroma with a hint of lemon. The flavor is mildly sweet with some more of the hay or grass like qualities. Crisp and clean finish.

No corn aroma; light grassy, hoppy aroma (very light). Clean smell. Clear light gold color with a white head that left quickly. It was vigorous as it poured though. Medium mouhtfeel. Not much taste. There is definitely some hop in the finish, and it probably qualifies as a pilsener. It has that dry finish. Could use a tad more hop. As often, though not always, a lager better than Bud.

Fizzy golden with thin white head. Mild malty sweetness in the aroma. Taste is of malt with a hint of boiled band-aids in the finish. Decent mouthfeel and carbonation. $1

It came all the way from Thailand to disappoint the masses of Manitoba. Too bad. Thought it might have goen well with Pad Thai. Tasted brutal. Couldn’t finish it.

Light gold in colour with strong carbonation. Mild grassy hop aroma, along with notes of rice and aluminum. Somewhat malt forward in the mouth with a semi-sweet element. Hints of corn sugar. Watery texture and under hopping make for a poor feeling on the palate. A pretty poor showing overall.
