Sweet straw and grass on the nose. Pale malt flavor, somewhat sweet, a bit corn/rice like but not bad. Fairly smooth, clean, I think sweeter than most other examples. Moderate body and mouthfeel. A dash of pale fruit skin in this one too. I liked this one more than I had thought. A bit macro like, but clean and non-offensive.   A very light sweeter than expected pilsner.

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Feb 16, 2007 Fizzy golden with thin white head. Mild malty sweetness in the aroma. Taste is of malt with a hint of boiled band-aids in the finish. Decent mouthfeel and carbonation. $1 Fiend (104), Calgary, Alberta, Canada

Faint aroma of grains...no hint of rice though! :) As Presario pointed out...this is a great beer to have with a spicy noodle bowl. Not much in terms of flavor and palate but a very drinkable beer. | 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Feb 22, 2006 Bottle, un-dated. Poured a very light, bright golden with a smort cap of white head... very lightly-suspended floaties in there. First impression from the aroma was "crappy & skunky Thai pale lager"... thankfully the skunk receded after a minute or so, and was replaced by some sweet malts and grass. Light, but fairly pleasant. I rather enjoyed the flavors... sweet pale malts, hints of lemongrass, and a faint floral bitterness coming through in the end. Carbonation was medium-high, and the brew was very lightly-bodied. Left some sticky corn remnance when it was all gone. This wasn’t exciting by any means, but certainly palatable. LadyCooper (100), Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Dec 28, 2005 Bottle. I could have sworn from the label and name that it was a Belgian / Dutch / German beer, not a Thai beer! Not a bad beer, though. A bit hoppy, and very light colour (almost Pale Ale colour), but very drinkable. Nothing remarkable, probably wouldn’t buy it at a liquor store, but if it’s on the menu, I’ll order it. | 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 5/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Jun 2, 2009 This is just plain and simply a beer, nothing special about it and nothing so bad its stands out either. It looks like you every day mass produced lager there is a bit o a metallic skunky smell and lots of carbonation. Slightly sweet tasting for a lager and a good amount of hoppieness. There’s just really nothing good or bad that makes this beer stand out, it’s just a beer." presario (2996), Calgary, Alberta, Canada
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Nov 9, 2005 Very carbonated lively medium yellow with a big head. Light grassy aroma. Not much bitterness. Gentle sweetness and clean. A touch of bread or cookies. Probably be a very good beer to quaff with spicy food.
