Bottle from Oakchurch Farm Shop, Staunton on Wye, Herefordshire, consumed 07-11-09 Pours warm gold with subdued but appley nose. Softness about this, but nice though slightly restrained tart bite, decent bittersweet apple, some soft woodiness shows, pleasant cider A6 A4 F6 P3 Ov12 3.1

Bottle from Phoenix Fine Drinks, Gloucester. Clear, pale gold in colour with slight carbonation. Zesty, apple juice aroma with hint of tartness and some lingering ammonia. Initially some sweetness on the tongue, before refreshing apples, rustic yeast and a medium finish in terms of dryness. Very easy drinking for the strength.
