Aroma is light malts, orange and lemon, hazelnut/almond. Taste is hint of toffee, and quite nutty and sweet. Moderately hopped, but not strong in the flavour, and very pleasant on the finish. Smooth, crisp and refreshing.

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 23, 2009 Poured out a nice clear amber with a light white cap that goes to a ring and leaves small ammounts of spotty lacing. The aroma is light but refreshing with a good blend of pungent citrus and mild malts that are weakly toasted, caramel, nutty (almond) and sweet. The taste is also mild but quite appealing. Toasted malts, slightly nutty, caramel. The hops are obvious but the flavour is not. it is well blended in to give a mix between orange, apricot and other citrus. Smooth mouth feel with lots of carbonation, finishes dry with a bready malt and short lived bitter aftertaste. I’ve just found myself a new beer for the rotation. Local folks, buy up and support local brewing. This is an easy drinking tasty brew. Cirrhosis (623), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada

Aroma is unpleasant when you stop and think about what your smelling, sweat, honey, bread, some hop all combine to form this non offensive but unpleasant aroma. Sweet bready taste with a mild bitter finish. There is a hop bit in the flavour but it seems fake I can’t explain how though. The more I drink the more an out of place medicine flavour appears. Once again this is one of those disappointing beers if you break it down and think about it, but you could easily slam, back a case and not be offended. "

Aroma is fruity, some citrus elements. Fruity malt taste as well, mild finishing hops. Some mild citrus and grassy aftertastes. Light body, average carbonation. Drinkable but rather uneventful golden ale. JoeZasada (142), Beaumont, Alberta, Canada
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jul 10, 2008 Pours a dark pale with a thin white head that stays around... mild citrus aroma... mild malt taste, slight hoppy bitterness, slight hoppy fruitiness... overall pretty good. even more dry hopping would make it better though. presario (3001), Calgary, Alberta, Canada
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 14, 2008 Cool, somewhat retro cartoon label. Light copper colour. Clean white film head. Light fruity hop scent. Light fruity hop flavour. A bit of apricot and citrus. Enough hops to cut through. A beer for the masses, not quite a crossover beer but a few of them would accompany a hockey game OK. fogducker (12), Alberta, Canada
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 1/5 | 14/20 | Mar 15, 2008 Quickly dissipating white head, nose of citrus(orange Tang?!). Mild carbonation, iced tea, hops, citrus, grass, not an overpowering hops presence. Nicely balanced pale ale. DuffMan (2769), the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, Canada
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Jan 19, 2008 A new offering from Edmonton’s newest craft brewer, with a little help from the folks at Alley Kat. Pours a bright amber, moderate white head with only brief retention, no lace. Aroma of dry leaves, slightly resinous and fruity. The hops are papery, earthy, and leafy, with some resin, but the malt has a funny burnt cracker flavour. Hmmm, this just didn’t come together quite right. Still not bad in the end.
