Jun 15, 2009 Bottle thanks to the bosses, BBD may 2007. Alroudn rating: This is one of the most refreshing new beers iv had in a while, in terms of a beer thats just unique. Its like someones made a flemish sour but with rochefort 6, but perhaps lacking the berry fruits. The acidity however it gets in there, makes it massivly drinkable, theres a cranbery sauce like dry woody punch with the darker malt and candy suagr all blending well to make somethign that i can only relate to the likes of dirty horse(but not as good). Excellent beer, id really really like to try this again.

pours orange/brown, creamy off white head, with yeasty sediments.
Aroma is malty, hoppy and some spices.
Taste, candi sugar is prominent, barley and wheat for a grainy palate, caramel malts with light roast and faint cocoa touch.
Hoppy with some light bitterness with honey like mouth feel. Profile remains malty with caramel.

Apr 4, 2009 33 cL bottle, as Ambiorix Bruin Bier. Pours clear and golden brown with a huge, slowly collapsing and tan head. Mild roasted and medium dry malt aroma. Mild sweet caramel malt flavoured, subdued yeast presence. Nice crisp caramel malt flavoured into the finish.

Mar 16, 2009 Slaghmuylder Drongens Plezierke from Cracked Kettle. Murky brown body with sticky tan head. Sugary, malty nose. Taste of watery caramel, raisins and yeast. Sour notes. Bitter finish.

Feb 10, 2009 Giant lumpy head tops this red-brown beer. Ripe, vinous aroma with a woody, sour edge. Rich, almost wine-like flavour and texture. Dry, woody aftertaste.
