Dark brown coloured beer with almost no carbonation and a large off-white head. Sweet sour fruity and malty aroma. Full palate. Finish is bitter, malty, somewhat sharper with fruity, fresh sour special touches. Very nice.

330ml bottle. Very dark brown in colour with a decent beige head. Chocolate and spice aroma with some floral hops. The flavour was sweet, with more chocolate, some doughy malt and red fruit. Enjoyable.

Bottle, picked up from The Hop Duvel, Gent, Belgium, consumed 26-12-07 Pours chesnut brown with an off-white head and the cheekiest of red glints shining through. This initially tasted a bit thin (no bad thing and quite a relief after all of those heavier beers) Gentle carbonation sends bubbly sweet malts and unripe plum flavours whipping through the mouth, a really lovely fruitiness to this beer. Found this quite intriguing and a change from the bigger brasher beers, it really hits the spot. Very nice.

Bottle: Poured dark brown with reddish tint, the head is thin and off white. Aroma is sweet malt. The taste follows up that sweet malt but has a dry alcohol finish that tingles. Overall very balanced dubbel.
