Bottled as "Drongers Plezierke", alc. 7.6% (BB 10/2007)
Almost opaque dark brown, good tan head. Lemony hoppy nose. Grassy hoppy, lemony, a bit sweet flavor. Alcohol is very well hidden. Carbonated, a bit barnyardish and even a bit roasted malty flavor. Interesting brew. (6/4/8/3/13 3.4)
Re-rated, bottle BB 10/2007
Red ruby, small off-white head. Malty nose with vinegar, metal and berries. Malty with licorice notes plus some dark fruits. Nice sipping beer. Long but light hoppy and alcoholic aftertaste. (6/4/7/3/13 3.3)

(Bottled, labeled "Drongens Plezierke") Dark brown color with a very small, lasting head. Aroma of licorice and neutral malt. Slightly sweet, caramely-malty, maybe slightly sharp flavor with licorice and dried fruit, some orange-peel. Medium-bodied, medium-carbonated palate. A very nice, licoricey and full-malty brew.

A Mes rate: Wonderful deep ruby red amber with a decent chunky head. Lots of malt and caramel/toffee with a kriekishness about it. Dry and slightly sour finish. Reminds me faintly of a Vichtenaar or something similar. Jolly tasty.

1998 vintage at Kulminator, May 2005. Dark brown ale with burgundy hue and a light moka head. Light caramelized sugar in mouth, with milk chocoalte notes. Lightly sour notes. Beer as maderized nicely, bringing out woody notes in this sour brown ale.

(Bottle 33 cl) Dark amber with a full and frothy head. Very dry, almost ashy flavours - far from the malty sweetness one would expect in a Dubbel. An odd sour finish almost reminiscent of Rodenbach although somehow not as quenching. An odd bird indeed. 301297

(Bottle 33 cl) As "Drongens Plezierke"Dark beer with a huge head. Soft and very malty notes in a nice balance with the hops. Very tasty and easy to drink - in spite of the alcohol. My kinda beer. 8/4/8/4/16= 4 130694

Nice amber-red color with light colored head. Soft fruity aroma’s with some spices, flower accents and sugar. Taste is smooth and elegant. It has hints of fruits, malts, cookies and some spices. In the end a soft bitter accent.

Deep dark reddish brown coloured with nice head. Fruity and spicy aroma. Soft mouthfeel. Sweet and fruity with spicy notes and some complexity. A very tasty brew.
