From tap at the brewery. Hazy, warm amber with a small, dense head. The aroma is rather neutral with a light sweetness and light notes of cloves and banana. The flavour has sweetness, notes of banana, light clove and wheat. The overall impression is too thin.

Draught at the brauhaus in Bamberg. Dark muddy orange/brown colored body with an off-white head. Sticky fruit and dough in the nose, some doughy cookies and oranges and nuts tasted. A bit plain overall, seems a bit simple.

[on tap at brewpub] Sweet banana > bubblegum > lemon aroma. Cloudy copper with a nice lasting foam. Soda watery bubblegum flavour that is sweet and sugary and followed by something unsavory which becomes an herbal bitterness. Medium to light body, medium carbonation, lingering unsavory flavour finish.

Draught, Ambräusianum, Bamberg. Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, fully lasting. Body is medium amber. Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (cookie, caramel), lightly yeasty (cobwebs), with notes of banana/gum and clove. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Like the hell, nice aroma but too sweet.
