Pours almost black with off-white head.
Taste is nutty, roasted and malty, with light notes of chocolate. Found it to be fizzy.
Enjoyed the beer with the good farmer’s plate.

Aug 15, 2008 Draught at the brewpub. Dark brown, small head. Ftruity toasty nose. Sweet and sticky, bready and syrupy. Dull and lifeless despite good amounts of flavour. It lacks malt firmness.

Aug 9, 2008 (7/2/08) Draught at the brewpub in Bamberg. Clear reddish-amber. Aroma of malt and some chemical hints. Sweetish caramelly flavor with some unpleasant taste. Quite light-bodied.

Cloudy pale brown colour. Aroma from cocoa powder and cognac. Fruity flavour and all lifeless with no maltiness. Does not linger. Naah!

Jul 12, 2008 On tap at Ambrausianum Brewpub, Bamberg. Clouded amber brown with thin white head. Again quite an amateurish beer, yeasty, tart and thin. Not very good.
