sebletitje (269), Tampa, Florida, USA Aug 27, 2008 50cl, tap at the brewpub Bamberg.
Golden color, white head, unfiltered
Aroma is citrus / lemon.
Taste is sweet, sugary and malty.
Many who critique the place forget that the place is a micro brewery and not a brewery, and also the youngest of Bamberg’s beer brewers. omhper (10456), Stockholm, Sweden Aug 15, 2008 Draught at the brewpub. Cloudy pale yellow, small head. Fruity yellow plum aroma. Medium sweet with rounded mouthfeel. Clean and soft malt, but well sweet and with notes of spun sugar. Fairly low bitterness. Soft, but a bit sterile. DSG (849), Yuvalim, Israel Aug 9, 2008 (7/2/08) Draught at the brewpub in Bamberg. Yellow to pale golden color. Aroma of pale malt. Sweetish malty flavor. Light to medium body. Not a whole lot of character. rickgordon (3061), Göteborg, Sweden Aug 7, 2008 On draught at the brewpub.
Pale golden colour. Pretty malty, fruity aroma with hops detected. Mouthfeel is pretty big and malty, yet low bitterness. Not to bad. imdownthepub (4043), Banbury, Oxfordshire, Oxfordshire, England Jul 12, 2008 On tap at Ambrausianum Brewpub in Bamberg. Clouded gold with slight head. It seems like quite an amateur effort this, a homebrew rather than a saleable beer. Very bready, yeasty in character, quite tart and lacking any depth. Dodgy.
