Pours a rich dark brown/black colour with a small beige head. Smells of bourbon, vanilla extract, coffee, chocolate and roasted malts. Strong flavour of bourbon, dark fruits, vanilla extract, malt and chocolate. Feels smooth going down the throat with slight burn of alcohol.

black body with not much head.aroma is butterscotch,bourbon,oak,vanilla,brownies,and marshmellows.flavor is much of the same with a slight lactic finish.

great bourbon and tar aromas .. cherry, bourbon, black licorice, and tar flavours .. . the bedazzler? .. a nice blend of simple flavours, not overdone .. its at its pinical though.. . good but boring in a way .. .

A strong aroma of bourbon abounds as soon as its poured. Beer pours a dark black with a thin tan head. Along with the bourbon aroma there are notes of roasted malt, chocolate and some lighter coffee notes. Flavor starts off with a very strong bourbon presence and moves into a smooth chocolate, coffee and dark malt notes, ending with an alcohol and bourbon flavor. Beer has fine carbonation and a medium density. Overall a good beer, a solid bourbon presence and nice woody notes.

12 oz bottle. Pours a black cola with a medium light brown head. Aroma of bitter malts, molasses, chocolate, brown sugar, wood and bourbon. Taste of bitter roasted malts, chocolate, molasses, wet oak wood and bourbon. Not bad.

Perfectly black with a medium brown colored head. The bourbon nose is very strong with some decent vanilla and oak. There is certainly milk chocolate and a little bit of coffee roast. The oak aging makes the taste almost puckering at first. It has the typical roast oak and vanilla. There is also dark chocolate and some soybeans. The finish is a little astringent and light tart. Overall, an ok brew, but too much barrel aging for my taste.

Pronounced whiskey and vanilla aroma. Pours with a short tan head. Creamy dark chocolate flavor. The whiskey comes trough much more in the flavor. Relatively light bodied but clean flavors. Would look for a little more body but the oak aging here is nice and adds good dimension and complexity.

Thanks kiefdog for the share. Pours black with an off-white head. Nose is oak, vanilla, chocolate, bourbon, earth, chocolate, and booze. Flavor contains some hops, roasted malt, and some evanescent bourbon flavor. Some noticeable yellow lace on the glass. Not bad.
