Cornfield (4892), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA Dec 31, 2006 The body is a deep amber, about 16 on the lovibond scale (No - I’m not that much of a beer snob; it was on the menu), and sports a creamy ecru head. The first scent that comes forward is ginger, followed by a light molasses aroma. Medium bodied, it has a strong ginger flavor, backed up on a more modest scale by cinnamon, allspice, and nutmeg. It finishes on a powdery, bitter ginger note. Okay.
