JMerritt (1313), Macomb, Illinois, USA Aug 31, 2007 Golden, clear with a medium-sized white head. Rye, maltball, lemonpeel aroma. Sweet malt, rye, wheaty twang to the flavor. Dry, wheaty finish, soft palate. For a so-called "Corona" clone, not bad at all. Blows Corona away, actually - shouldn’t even be compared. RAYBOY01 (1813), Chicago, Illinois, USA May 20, 2007 Very pallid clone of an extremely uninteresting beer, that no one really should be drinking for any reason anyway, much less looking for a pale imitation of which to be sampling instead, when they could just as well find the real thing, pay seventy five percent less, and experience the original, but instead are drinking an expensive copy of a really, really bad beer that costs three times as much instead of enjoying the beer that these guys are trying to copy! rinkybrink (4), naperville, Illinois, USA does not count Nov 11, 2006 A great beer, and goes really well in the summer with a bit of lime and a lawn chair soaking up the sun. Too bad it’s only available during the summer! Cornfield (4892), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA May 24, 2006 Mike Rybinski, brewmaster, told me that his goal was to brew this true to style. It’s actually too unoffensive for that. It’s a decent enough lawnmower lager, sweet and malty in the nose with the must-have corny addition. Has an uncharacteristically frothy head for the style. The flavor is sweet malt and corn with a very light bitterness, finishing on an almost granular sweetness.
This brew comes in at a Whopping 13 IBU. Amusingly, at a recent contest judges criticized it for being too hoppy for the style.

Woodpecker (23), Warrenville, Illinois, USA Jan 8, 2006 This is a nice light summer drinkin’ beer. It has a good taste, little after taste, is lightly hopped and well carbonated. But what makes it shine is the lime. What a difference a squish of lime made to the flavor. It really brought out the best in the beer. An excellent summer beer. mmmbeergood (14), Elburn, Illinois, USA Nov 4, 2005 First tried this at the brewpub over summer. Didn’t care for it when I first tried it without the lime. The brew master informed me that it was specifically formulated to be taken with a lime. Tried it again, with the lime, and the flavor was much improved. Light thirst quencher. The taste improved with consumption. May need at get a corny keg of this next summer.
