Subtle notes of cereal grains and lemon zest in the nose. Medium-bodied and lightly oily with prickly carbonation. Grain and honey flavors with mild bitterness and lingering sweetness. Finishes crisp and a touch citric, but then sweetens-up toward the very end. xnoxhatex (1305), Grand Rapids/Chicago, Michigan, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 19, 2008 12oz bottle thanks to 17thfloor, was excited to see what one of the few bottled versions of there beer would turn out like. Murky light amber color with small white head. Aroma is subtle orange and honey over sweet wheat and barley malt. Flavor is mostly orange and other citrus though slight honey is also noticable and medium sweet malt. Medium to thin body with okay carb. Meh. 17thfloor (1493), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Apr 8, 2008 Very average pour, murky straw colored with a somewhat frothy white head. Smells of sour macro keg beer, honey, soap and wheat. Sweet, soapy like cashews, honey, slightly toasty flavor, a little bit hot. Watery body, tingly carbonation, somewhat juicy. Barley malt plays a larger part than the wheat for sure. Eh... CaptainCougar (5517), Rockville, Maryland, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Nov 18, 2007 On tap at the brewpub on 6/20/07: Pours a fizzy clear golden with a thin, wispy-lacing white head. Sweet sugary orange aroma has a hint of noble hops. Body starts somewhat thin and lightly citrusy with a touch of honey sweetness toward a drier, thinner floral finish. An interesting honey wheat beer. AOF (282), Naperville, Illinois, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Sep 1, 2007 Average amber color with a fairly thick white head. Nose on this was unusually malty, and not in a good way. Could not detect any grain or honey aromas at all. Maybe this was a bad pour. Not one of their better offerings. kp (8396), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 21, 2007 (Tap) Pours a hazy yellow color with a small white head. Light and smooth body. Honey is definitely detectable, but not overwhelming. I didn’t really get much in the way of wheat malts; it seemed more like a blonde ale to me. DrnkMcDermott (1853), Downers Grove, Illinois, USA

Light crisp spiciness of an solid American wheat ale. Honey s just on the edge and not overdone. Just a hint of the milder American hops.
