12 oz bottle pours a deep brown with a small dark tan head which quickly dissipates aroma slightly smells of smoke. Taste slightly bitter on the pallet with some after taste. The balance of this brew seems to be slightly off, with sweetness masking any flavors it may have.

Dark pour with a small brown head. Aroma of sweet roasted malt, dark fruits, alcohol. Taste is off. There is a sweetness and some smoke. The flavor falls flat compared to the aroma.

Bottle thanks to xnoxhatex! Pours a creamy very dark brown with a thin fine frothy beige head. Nice roasty aroma, molasses and slightly fruity. Flavor is a bit tart, wow, some creamy chocolate, fruity, berries, lactic, lemony finish with a coffee aftertaste. Medium bodied with a full mouthful, creamy with fizzy carbonation. Sure...

12 ounce bottle picked up by my parents from the brewpub in Aurora, Illinois. This beer poured a deep black color with no carbonation and brown swirls on the top. The aroma was very boring for a porter... especially for a baltic style porter. It consisted of faint cocoa, malt, and some nuts. I was expecting something different from a baltic porter, but the aromas did not fuse together very well. The taste was a bit strange with some tangy fruits, malt, and bitter chocolate. It actually left a bit of a sour taste in my mouth after drinking. It finished a bit bitter. Overall it was a very strange beer...

Bottle. A light brown sugar colored head tops a black body. The aroma is light molasses and milk chocolate. There is also some nice pipe tobacco. The taste is sugary sweet at first with some lemon peel in the finish. There is also some burned coffee and canned pineapple. None of these flavors came together in a good way. Nasty.

Pours dark brown with a deep tan head that goes away quickly. The aroma has cream, hazelnuts and roasted malt, but not bitter. The body is thin and watery with very light carbonation. the flavor starts with wateriness, sour, grainy and fruity ~ and this is supposed to be a porter? The aroma doesn’t deliver what it promises.

Dark brown with a somewhat fizzy, diminishing light tan head. Aromas of roasted malt, burnt sugar and light smoke. Sour, smoky flavor ensue. Lix of lactose and infection, not sure which one dominates. Apple skin and dark cherry pits also in the mix. IMO just poorly executed.
