Had this one on draught at Brew Daze 2006. Deep copper pour with a thick, off white head, strong nose of hops and roses, well balanced into the finish. This one was very good.

May 24, 2006 Mike Rybinski, braumeister, gave me a sneak preview of this one, so beware of the potential for a name modification. Mike told me that he designed it as a Session IPA, and that it is...although, to me, DFH 90-Minute IIPA is a sessionable brew. This is a golden ale with a creamy, solidly lacing head. The nose is dominated by the hops, although not too heavily. Floral scents with a hint of pine and some earthiness cover over a light sweet malt. Fairly light bodied for the style, but the sweet, bready malt is subdued buy the hops’ bitterness, which begins slowly but builds to a long, lingering finish. Not bad. America’s Brewpub, Aurora, IL
