The first thing I noticed about this beer was the glass it’s served in! It was like a shallow bowl with a horn-like shape coming out of it. Very unusual for a brewer in Kansas City to serve out of obscure glasses. Anyway, this beer reminded me quite a lot of a Belgian witbier. It has a light, wheat-malt aroma, with unmistakable citrus (orange) and coriander. Very nice lacing and head. Medium golden-orange in color, this beer is really quite attractive. Spicy, sweet, orangey and coriander profile, with some light spicy hop flavor. Finishes mostly sweet and malty, aftertaste is all spice and citrus. Very soft palate/body, creamy carbonation. Tasty, but rather one-dimensional.
