harrisoni (5331), Ashford, Kent, England Nov 6, 2006 On tap at Henry’s, Portland. Great barman allowed us to try some samples before choosing what to drink. Mind you they would then only serve pints. Cloudy red/amber with thin beige head. Lovely intense hop aroma. Surprisingly drinkable in mouth. Lovely sherberty grapefruit. Lovely aroma, have I said that? Got some good malts in mouth. Lovely finishtoo. Just not too subtle. HopDevil (117), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA Dec 23, 2006 Yes! Off the tap at Amnesia in NE Portland, a sweet IPA that lasts... both in flavor, which I like and in the aftertaste department, which I don’t like. I could taste this beer the next morning... good thing it had such deliciousness! Dark amber hazyness with little head. Smelled of cascade hops and an explosion of goodness. Angeloregon (2002), Portland, Oregon, USA Dec 17, 2007 On tap at Amnesia in Portland, OR--A bigger, bolder IPA than the Sunny Day. Poured a deep copper with a thin foamy white head. Nose of big grapefruity hops and grainy, bready malts. Earthy, piny, floral finish. Quite nice! unclemattie (1620), Georgia, USA Aug 12, 2006 Had this beer at the 2006 OBF. one of the more basic IPAs I’ve had. Very good beer at the OBF. very floral. light orange in color. nice balance through the whole beer. 11026 (1886), USA Apr 23, 2006 Tap at Rose and Raindrop. Ultrahazed deep amber color with plenty of red highlights. Dense cream colored head, long lasting with great lacing left behind. Moderate pine and floral aroma, some fruitiness. Medium bodied, well balanced with modest carbonation. Pine and citrus flavor doesn’t dominate but lingers pleasantly. A touch thin at times but not to be bothersome.
