Likewise the flavor has a roasted nutty malt to it with some fruit skin tannins and a dry finish. Tasted side by side to Naked City’s Dubbel and this one was far the inferior. cathcacr (592), Portland, Oregon, USA

Seemed actually to be like a cross between a Dubbel and a Tripel. Was buttery and smooth. Poured beautifully in their tulip glass. Maybe I need to get a tulip glass of my own.

4oz Taster - Dark, malty, yeasty strong ale. Has a very strong taste like a Trappist brew. Cloudy color, and a nice fruit flavor and a strong yeast presence. This beer could have had a bit more time in the keg. I really liked this brew.
