On tap at Bailey’s. Deep red pour with a light beige head. Buttery nose, caramel and old dark fruit show. The malts were thin and couldn’t stand up to the overly sharp bitter finish. This just fell apart in the finish and was to one sided on the bitterness.

Pours a clear, dark amber with a pearl head. leaving lacing on the glass. Aroma of fruit, grass, and pine. The hops come in big time in the finish. Fantastic beer.

Tap @ Bailey’s Taproom... Poured ruby with an off-white head. Toasted, earthy aroma with a pine and oak presence. Dry palate with floral hop flavors and berry-like fruit and malt. Finished dry with hops and malt and was also a little yeasty.

Another nicely done beer from Amnesia. Great maltiness throughout the whole pint, creamy on the palate, with just enough fruitiness to maintain the style. Never overbearing, remains balanced, some caramel and honey sweetness come through as it begins to warm slightly. Very well done.

This was just a killer beer. Probably one of the best that I tried. Straightforward and with a velvety smooth malt mouthfeel, butterscotch and caramel, with some nice lively carbonation.
