BDR (1866), Roseville, Minnesota, USA Jan 21, 2008 wow. Bob was the last guy to rate it. Cheers to following each other around the country! Pitch black body with islands off brown head. Milk chocolate ilon the nose. impressive flavor for a porter - lots of chocolate and faint burnt malts. 11026 (1886), USA May 25, 2006 Tap at SIxth St. Grill HR. Deep brown, near black in color. Smallish tan-brown head never really fades out, leaves nice lacing. Big chocolate aroma, nice mix of heavily roasted grain. Fuller bodied which is nice. Great chocolate flavor, big earthy hops appear in the middle to finish. Nice DewBrewer (248), Austin, Texas, USA Jul 22, 2005 On draught in March, 2005. It is dark brown to black with a small head. The aroma is chocolaty with a large dose of roastiness, plus a bit of malt. The flavor is more roast than chocolate, quite robust, smooth, and with a nice level of carbonation. Good beer! robertburns (15), westminster, Colorado, USA Feb 10, 2006 Very light nose. Black in color with no head. Very rich and smooth with vanilla flavor and almost expresso at the end. Very smooth with no bite. A VERY good porter.
