Jul 2, 2008 I have to say I think I prefer the Desolation to the Sunshine, just speaking of the beer. The hops are a little more upfront in this one, but it lacks the fruitiness, and has more of a citrus appeal to it. Lighter malt background, with a lot of bitterness and bite. Still pretty crisp and light bodied. Not bad, but not a favorite.

Dec 17, 2007 On tap at Amnesia in PDX, OR--Poured a hazy light copper straw hue with a medium white head. Nose of sweet, fruity hops and grittymalts. Taste was floral. A little biting hops finish. Pretty good brew.

Jul 25, 2005 Cloudy lemon yellow body with a white head. Aroma is medium sweet, lemon, floral. Taste is medium sweet, lemon, grapefruit. Light-medium body. Lacks balance.
