gmonroe10 (112), Netherlands Jul 22, 2008 Bottle.Pours a clear amber with a rocky head. Nose is slight straw, big time malt, skunk hops. Taste is sweet malt with a muted hop presence. Certainly thin bodied. After sampling Bernard and Urquell before this, was very very letdown.
oh6gdx (6460), Vaasa, Finland Nov 29, 2008 Bottled (thanks jbrus!). Golden colour, small head. Aroma is malts, hops and some grassyness. Flavour is rubber and grass along with some minor malty notes. Quite papery and grassy aftertaste. TBone (5171), Pori, Finland Nov 28, 2008 (Bottled, BB 12/2008).
Dark honey golden color, small white head. Grassy papery hoppy, a bit sweet nose. Harsh malty, a bit papery flavor with hoppy finish. Quite standard pale lager. yespr (7785), Copenhagen O, Denmark Nov 26, 2008 30 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Slight acidic and cornish aroma. Flavour is mild sweet but also decending into a more acidic base flavour into the finish. Lingering dry and acidic cornish finish. Reelingsilk (22), Netherlands Sep 8, 2008 Updated: Sep 10, 2008A decent Pilsner. I’m quite partial to it because it’s the one my father always buys as his mainstay. It’s not very special, but it’s got some spicy notes and maltiness that make it more interesting than the average Dutch Pilsner. Borresteijn (672), Amstelveen, Netherlands Aug 10, 2008 Bottle. A dryer and more fullbodied version of their usual pils. Taste is more grainy and hoppy. OK pilsener.
