Clear and golden with disappearing head. Aroma and flavor of malt. Bitterness is low
Bov (4659), Bienne, Switzerland Sep 22, 2008 courtesy of Antonio Rey Ruiz - clear golden-bronze colour with a little persistent foam; a good balance between malts and hops in the nose, notes of peanuts; good malt body with some sweetness, tasty, late but decent bitterness, long malty and biscuity finish - a good one Papsoe (10359), Frederiksberg, Denmark Aug 2, 2008 (Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of yespr. Clear deep golden with a small, white head. Malty nose. Rather full body with a solid malt base but unfortunately also a somewhat crude and bitter finish. 030608 yespr (6889), Copenhagen O, Denmark Jun 7, 2008 33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow to orange with a fully diminished white head. Malt, slight metallic and mild spiced. Flavour is sweet malt and slight spiced with a light metallic note. Ends with a mild bitterness and light breadish malt flavour. DruncanVeasey (1735), No. 46, Leicestershire, Germany Apr 14, 2007 Deep reddish amber. Cerveza Especial. Presumably going head to head with some of the stronger Spanish lager-type beers, but not as refreshing. Grainy, butterscotchy snout. Too heavy and headachy for my liking. Pilsenerish grainy bitterness and booze. A beer between 2 stools.
