Bottle shared from the LCBO. Dark golden pour with a diminishing head and noticeable carbonation. Sweet aroma with pomegranate, bread dough and yeast. Flavour comprised of honeydew, bread and pomegranate. Not as prominent in the fruit as I expected. Decent brew.

(bottle) golden colour; aroma of pomegranate and citrus; light bitter taste with light bitter finish; promising aroma with decidedly disappointing flavour

Clear dark gold/orange with a medium foamy off white head showing good retention and a nice lacing. Aroma is artificial pomegranate and peaches with a bit of soap and some wheat. Flavor is artificial pomegrenate and apricot with some malt and wheat. Very thin.

500 ml bottle from the LCBO. pours deep gold with maybe a hint of reddish berry extract but i might be tricking myself. aroma of sweet berry extract. decent wheat ale flavour with added berry and pomegranate extract flavours. does not finish overly sweet. somewhat tart, finishable, not terrible, woooohooo!!

Golden red, thin white head, no lacing.
Aroma is very sweet, syrupy, candy raspberries.
Flavour is sweet, grainy, lots of syrup, fake fruit.
Sweet mouth, thin body, mod carb.
Finishes sweet and fake.

Typical Amsterdam fake fruit.

500ml bottle purchased at the LCBO in Stratford, Ontario.

Opened on May 27, 2009.

No date.

Meh a wattery wheat beer with a tart artificial berry/pomegranate flavoring. It was decent and I can see it being a great summertime ice cold beer but other than that it’s pretty forgetable.

I tried this beer on August 18, 2009 after purchasing from one of my local LCBO outlets. The beer poured a translucent golden red with a thin tan coloured head. The aroma was sweet malt and light fruits, although it was more apricot like than pomegranate. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium-high carbonation. The flavour was sweet malt with a tang. A bit over the top flavour wise as it was more of a zing than anything.

Mediocre review. Wasn’t bad, just not my style. I’ve yet to find a "fruit beer" that blends the fruit flavour with the wheat beer properly. Nice texture, decent aroma.

500ml bottle, clean amber color, with an off-white head, fruity, fieldberry, mainly blackberry, light pomegranate nose, with a faint honeyed pale, wheaty malt note, and a hint of herbal floral hop in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a crisp honeyed wheat, pale malt, artificial fruity character of candyish pomegranates, berries, with a kind of medicinal, Pepto-Bismol syrup flavor, leading towards a mild acidic fruity, medicinal finish.
