anders37 (2573), Malmö, Sweden Jul 20, 2008 Draught @ Collins Pub, Seattle. Pours a slightly hazy orange color with a small white head. Fruity hoppy grapefruit aroma. Fruity malty hoppy bitter grapefruit flavor. Long fruity grapefruit finish with a bitter aftertaste. BlackDonald (1040), North Carolina, USA Jul 17, 2008 This is a textbook example of what I expect in a NW IPA. This hits the mark perfectly. Hoppy with spicy floral notes, followed by some pine and citrus. The mouthfeel is great, very creamy with just the right carbonation. Well balanced all the way through in every aspect. Nicely done! glkaiser (909), Seattle, Washington, USA Apr 14, 2008 On tap at Collins Pub. I swear this has gotten better recently. Cloudy copper with thin head. Just wonderful hop flavor comes through in the aroma and taste. Big citrus and a little pine. Medium bodied, despite coming in below 5%. Poster child for a good NW non-Imperial IPA. If I had my own bar, this would be on tap permantly. I love session beers that pack this much of what you want. bitbucket (1542), Kirkland, Washington, USA Feb 24, 2008 On tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy warm amber, with a thin white head. Lightly citrus and resinous nose. Light body and carbonation. Grapefruit and resin finish. riversideAK (1579), Shoreline, Washington, USA Dec 3, 2007 Hazy copper color. Big hop aroma. Obviously lots of dry hopping. Notes of citrus, pine, earth. Flavor is pretty much straight hops. Very bitter with a mild biscuity aspect. Pretty chewy. Amazingly hoppy. Would never think that this was 4.8% alcohol. Good stuff. Would drink this anytime available!
