Hazy unfiltered orange with an off-white head. Very fresh, bright hop nose - like sniffing fresh centennial hop pellets. Simple pale malt base with a bit of sweetness from perhaps a touch of munich malt. Next, is a blast of bright, grapefruit and pine hop juiciness. Medium bodied, but not at all thin with a smooth texture and lively carbonation. An ace session IPA. This was not a 4.8% abv beer - that has to be updated.

Tastes of hops, pine, grapefruit, and some citrus. Medium body. Dry texture. Average carbonation. Hoppy, pine, grapefruit, and slight resin finish is dry. trevor211 (518), Seattle, Washington, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 11, 2009 Pours medium orange with a smallish white head. Smells fairly sweet, and there’s definitely a good malt contingent in here, but it has a nice balance. Good all-around IPA, and very sessionable. OldMrCrow (1198), Seattle, Washington, USA

Wow. I just saw that this one comes under 5% ABV. Amazing, because there is no sacrifice in flavor intensity or richness. Deep copper pour, tons of pine resin in the (very fresh) aroma. Decent malt backing, but it’s all about the hops. Reminds me of very fresh Snoqualmie Wildcat, though I confess it’s been a year or two since I have had that one so I may be off here. Very nice beer with an extra bonus for being so sessionable. cyanescens (156), Seattle, Washington, USA

Had on tap at Hudson Public House in Seattle. Citrus, pine, maltiness, Yakima hops are a definate plus. bb (2930), Martinez, California, USA
