| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 17, 2007 Pours a dark, almost opaque, ruby color with a reasonable light brown head that lingers. Roasted coffee, caramel, and hop flower aroma. Roasted malt, bitter chocolate, and vanilla flavor with moderate hoppiness. A very interesting brew, but as another rater said, this is not a bock. rmussman (905), California, USA

Mouthfeel is spectacular. Goes down so smooth with a nice mellow aftertaste. Flavor is littly hopped and a mild malty texture. Overall a very very good beer. cbrixius (136), Newberrytown, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 15, 2007 Bottle, Poured clear medium dark brown with a nice frothy brown head. Aroma was a bit sweet and subtly fruity. The first impression upon sipping was that it just had a little extra nutttiness to go along with the roast malts. Definitely has a wheat background. Fairly enjoyable on the whole I would say. jonnabrix (136), Newberrytown, Pennsylvania, USA
