| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Feb 28, 2009 I am not terribly impressed. The whole light pale ales that are kind of same, a little hoppy, malty in different ways, gets old. j12601 (1312), Poughkeepsie, New York, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 26, 2009 650 mL bottle. Pours a clear deep gold with a 2-finger white head that quickly subsides to a bubbly film that stays, leaving some lace on the sides. The aroma is intensely hoppy with a herbal quality about it and a hint of grapefruit. In the taste the Cascade hops dominate with their astringent character. This continues in the aftertaste although an innuendo of pear does come up. Will I drink it again? You bet! mwelsh13 (483), Maryland, USA

More bitter than balanced but middle of the road APA.
