Bottle pour into Stella glass. Hazy golden with substantial off-white head. Excellent lacing remaining throughout. Aroma - wonderful citrus, Cascade hops, grassy notes. Excellent taste and IMO a very well-balanced offering of an APA. Sophisticated yet very drinkable and refreshing. Not too dry or bitter, just right for me. Top notch - Cheers! jsh420 (10), Illinois, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 21, 2009 On tap at some overpriced trendy restaurant in San Fran. Hazy golden pour with a small white head and some solid lacing. Unappetizing grass aroma and taste with a mild palate and small hop bite at the end. This one really didn’t do it for me. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 19, 2009 12oz. Pours cloudy gold/orange. Finger of white head, nice lingering white lacing. Aroma is strange... the only thing I can think of to describe it is "baby diaper"; and not a clean one...Flavor is a bit weak for an IPA- lots of grass and flowers. Not much of a lingering taste.
I much prefer Anchor Steam. nefarious (203), Clarkston, Michigan, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 18, 2009 nice copper pour with a big fluffy head. Strong grassy notes and just a hint of hops, lots of grass in the flavor and a hop biye at the end. This has awesome lacing on the glass and is silky smooth on the palate. nice bitter finish and very drinkable. Nebulor (109), , California, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 16, 2009 Some caramel and mild pine aroma.
Hazy light apple juice color with some action and sediment suspension.
Tea flavor with a hint of caramel and a lemon/lime hop taste.
Light to medium bodied, some resin feel, and a crisp carbonation.
The resin feel or the crisp carbonation may be off. lumberjack (178), Michigan, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Feb 16, 2009 12 oz bottle from Oliver T’s...Pours out a cloudy unfiltered gold/orange color. Low amount of head. Aroma is a wonderful blend of floral hops and clean sweet malts. Flavor is very well balanced, with a fair amount of grapefruity Cascade bitters and pale malts. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Overall, this is a simple yet very refreshing beer, and would be great in summer.
