| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 19, 2008 bottle poured an orange amber color with a half inch thick white head. aroma has sweet wheat, citrus peel, pine, and floral hops. sweet and flowery. mouth feel is light with lighter carbonation. flavor has flowery dry hops, dry citrus, light bitterness, and malt towards the end. some minerals carry into a drying finish with bitterness and resin against the light sweetness. flavorful as far as a pale ale goes. | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 19, 2008 Solid and frothy head when poured from the bottle. Color of the beer is golden-orange, leaning more to the golden end. Great lacing on the glass when drank. Aroma is heavy of floral hoppiness and a bit of citris accid aroma. Flavor has a great light malt taste which after this starts to fade the the floral/citrus hoppy taste which lingers. A little bit of the alcohol flavor comes through but it pairs great with the end flavor of the hops. Great drink and well worth a shot. Dastrn (115), Warsaw, Indiana, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 18, 2008 poured a clear golden-copper color with a small white head. The nose was citrusy hops, with a hint of orange peel and flowers.
The taste is of hops and bread, with a little bit of citrus in the aftertaste. The palate is pretty smooth, a little watery, but not too bad.
All around not a bad ale. I probably won’t return for more, but I’d recommend it to friends! TheGent (162), , Massachusetts, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 14/20 | Sep 17, 2008 really its a classic american beer offered by a classic american brewery. From the copper orange color to the bitter flavor, to the flowery citrus hops smell to the mouth coating palate this beer is all good all around. No its not a kind of beer that changes lives but it is the first beer i’d offer to any englishman who questions american pale ale. Pershing (149), Garland, Texas, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 16, 2008 Floral hop aroma and taste with a medium thick white head. Light malt flavor. One of the better examples of an Amercian Pale Ale. gameface23 (131), Haverhill, Massachusetts, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 15, 2008 Great aroma of cascade hops that is accentuated nicely by a malt presence that compliments the hops, but still leaves its backbone intact. Taste is similar. I’ll defintely buy this one again. It seems like it will be a refreshing session beer. bsm80 (144), Massapequa, New York, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Sep 13, 2008 Lemons hit the nose right away, pours clear orange, lots of foam. Taste is predominantly hoppy, but the hint of pale malt is enough to keep it balanced. Getting some more pine and spice as it disappears from the glass, crisp refreshing finish with some pleasant bitters lingering. Not a huge fan of hoppy beers but I enjoyed this.
