Medium hop nose of orange and citrus, mixed with caramel, toffee and biscuits. Nice balanced flavor with a citric hop finish that is both medium dry and medium bitter. rugbydude05 (305), Kew Gardens, New York, USA

Appearance is golden and hazy with minimal head. Flavor is slightly bitter and the palate is pretty decent. No bad aftertaste and a very full body. Much better than regular Anchor Steam Ale. guyinchicago (539), marengo, Illinois, USA

One of the best examples of this style of beer out there. Imperial-John (168), Mississauga, Ontario, Canada

Murky Gold with thick white head that coats glass as it thins. Nice hoppy aroma. Very dry, bitter, bubbly hoppy, almost creamy taste. Very dry bitter after-taste. Inconsistent taste as I am finding with some of the bitter hop ales (Rogue Brutal comes to mind). Last few I’ve had have blended well.
