Cloudy orange-yellow with a medium off-white head that sticks around for a bit. Medium hop nose of orange and citrus, mixed with caramel, toffee and biscuits. Nice balanced flavor with a citric hop finish that is both medium dry and medium bitter.

Overall very good ale. Aroma was very hoppy and sweet with very heavy floral scents. Appearance is golden and hazy with minimal head. Flavor is slightly bitter and the palate is pretty decent. No bad aftertaste and a very full body. Much better than regular Anchor Steam Ale.

Bottle: Orange-amber under a small frothy head. Lively carbonation. Good lacing. Powerful citrussy hop aroma with floral and buiscutty notes. Some pale malts and nuts with orange zest. Long dry-bitter finish. Fantastic.

Hazy light copper, white head, medium lacing. Flowery aroma of hops. Medium body with strong carbonation for the style. Too dry flowery grapefruit hops dominate the flavor.

Citrus in the nose, balanced hoppiness that opens to a clean and crisp, mildly-malty American Pale. One of the best examples of this style of beer out there.

LCBO bottle. Murky Gold with thick white head that coats glass as it thins. Nice hoppy aroma. Very dry, bitter, bubbly hoppy, almost creamy taste. Very dry bitter after-taste. Inconsistent taste as I am finding with some of the bitter hop ales (Rogue Brutal comes to mind). Last few I’ve had have blended well.
