This was the best we could find; considering our 4 hour layover we probably could have made it to Toronado. Draft pour. Clear dark blond color with medium white head. Some hop aroma, but its not worth the time to analyze this one. Citrus notes in the flavor with a weak malt base and some cereal / grain character. Well, thats about it. sleepylopes (313), New York, USA

This was fizzier than I like, but had a nice grainy/earthy malt character with some nice hop bitterness. If I’d had this before Thornbridge’s IPAs, I’m sure I would have liked it better, but it’s still a good pale ale. doubleo (1104), San Diego, California, USA

Bigger bottle, not sure if it is 22oz or not. Pours a slightly hazy yellow/orange color. Fizzy white head that hangs around as a film. Smells earthy hoppy and grainy malty. Tastes malty and somewhat metallic. Hops are subdued and very earthy. Medium body, nice, active yet smooth carbonation. strangaj (229), West Chester, Ohio, USA

Rich orange, tiny head. Beautifully hoppy aroma - new world hops, citrussy and fruity. Fairly malty body, but a huge bitter hoppy bite. Sticky and resiny, leaving a long bitter finish. Cascade used very well - other brewers could learn from these guys. BigBeer45 (693), Troy, Michigan, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 20, 2008 Bottle, has a mostly clear copper pour with a white head that is pretty persistant for the most part, eventually the bubbles receed to a ring, effervescent in the glass, aromas of malt, bread, fresh aromas of grass and flowers from the hops, the hops just seem to jump out at me, do not know if I got a really fresh bottle or was caught off guard, has a nice hop citrus bitterness, some malt sweetness and fruit flavors with a good bitterness in the finish that lingers, mouth feel is good, I was a little surprised at the hop aroma and bitterness found in this beer, sort of stands out from other Pale Ales, very nice.
