Feb 2, 2009 A very tasty barleywine style ale. The flavors were not typical of a barleywine and it was surprisingly smooth. The palate was that of caramel and butterscotch. Really impressive.

Jan 31, 2009 12oz bottle. 2007. Pours a hazy brown with a small ring of tan foam. Aromas of caramel malt, some dark fruit, and a hint of booze. Flavors the same sweet malts, caramel, vanilla a bit of heat.

Jan 29, 2009 Draft at Foundry Kansas City. Dark brown, nice white head. Nose is sweet and malty while the taste is sweet, spicy, sticky, malty and very smooth. Great beer and too easy to drink.

Jan 25, 2009 Bottle at Microbar, Battersea, 13th Jan 09, with renffisch. Rich reddish amber - typical barley wine looks. Sweet, rich in flavour and full bodied but not too sticky or cloying. Good caramel aroma. Lots of punch. A good barley wine.

Jan 24, 2009 Dark amber body with a thin white head. Nice sweet malty aroma. Lots of caramel. A little bit of spice in flavor. Finishes nice and warm. Pretty tasty beer.
