Nice aromas of dark fruits and everything to be expected, but almost a bit light for the style. Good, though. zapprentice (312), East Setauket, New York, USA

Aroma of sweet caramel malts, sweet potato, molassess, cinnamon, and allspice. Flavor is very similar to the aroma but perhaps not as sweet. Lots of caramel malt and sweet potato. Complex but not really that good. Also quite hard to drink. Meh.

Flavour is wonderfully malty and sweet with a fairly well balanced palate a bit strong on the alcohol side. Smooth and delicious. One of my favourites. Cavie (1494), Fort Worth, Texas, USA

Floral caramel malt, aged citrus hops, and some alcohol combine to form the aroma. The flavor contains chewy, sweet caramel and fusil-like alcohol along with some cherry woodiness. This beer has a medium to medium-full body and is sticky on the glass. The alcohol is not well-hidden. Overall this beer is more like a strong ale rather than a barleywine.
12 fl. oz. bottle (J7S; 8.8% Alc/Vol) from ??? . Rating #1173 for this beer.

Big, rich, toasty aroma with leather and wood. Full bodied, thick and warming, with a sharp edge. Assertively sweet at first, toffee, toast, plum, citrus, pepper and pine flavors, with just enough bitterness in the finish to almost balance it out. TEJA (294), Stockholm, Sweden
