Pours to a very dark brown body with a dark tan head. The aroma is intensly spicy with nutmeg and cinnamon, roasty black malts, fresh pickled ginger. The flavor is sweet milk chocolate, nutmeg, mace, sweet lasting malts. Nice mouthfeel.

Pours brown with a pretty flat head. Smells chocolatey with some mellow christmas spices. Taste is slightly roasty with some chocolate and coffee notes. Nutmeg, mace, and cookie dough are also present.

Bottle from kp at an Ale Atlanta a while back. Dark brown pour. Woody and spicy aroma - nutmeg especially. Sweet caramel malt flavors with tons of spice and again woody. Some cinnamon too.

Magnum. Varity of aromas, power chocoalte milk, chalky, and some fruit as well. Black body with an agressive pour you get a big tan creamy head. Head last thoughout the beer leaving a good amout of lacing behind on the glass. Flavor was mild sweetness and some spice. Smooth on palate leaving a dry chocolate aftertaste. Last beer of 2005 for me.

Poured very dark brown with ruby highlites and a fluffy light tan head. Aroma of brown sugar, cinnamon, fresh bread and butter toffee. Taste is gingerbread, toffee, some slight fruit acidity with a very mild finish, finishing somewhat dry and gingery.
