Nice, stable light brown head. Again with it’s burnt notes it reminds me a lot of a Stout, altthough not as dry. Spicy and pleasant and very quaffable due to the low alcohol. Perhaps slightly less character than last years brew. bigrond (1054), factoryville, Pennsylvania, USA

Dark brown with a medium sized tan head. Great aroma of spices(cinnamon,
vanilla, pine) along with sweet roasted malts. Flavor of malt, dried fruits, pine
and cinnamon. Very good. DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA

I brought this one back with from my recent CA trip (purchased at the Stuffed Sandwich). Initially looks black in color until you hold it up to a light then you see it is a very dark brown color. Averaged sized brownish head. Some floaters. Aromas of spices (nutmeg with some cinnamon), roasted and chocolate malts. Additional flavors of vanilla and molasses. Smooth body and easy to drink. 2 years of aging did this beer well. I’ve always like the Anchor OSAs and this one was not a let down.
