Enh. A bit disappointing. Kind of like a coffee stout without the kick. I'll stick to their steam and porter styles, which are pretty awesome.

real tasty..much better then last year i got this one and sipped it all night nice and flavourful with a less piney taste and a nice nutty kicks smooth rich colour and texture makes for a great sipping beer...christmas in a bottle...cheers

Nice dark coffee color with a medium tannish head. Fantastic aroma bursting with fruit, cloves and nutmeg. Flavor is spicey, a little light but a smooth malt character shines through. A very relaxing and enjoyable beer. Even though I would agree only one of these a night.

A nice looking winter beer. A dark ruby brown color with a large tan head. Aroma has copious amounts of nutmeg and should be well liked, unless the taster dislikes nutmeg. After the pronounced nose, the flavor is anything but. I'm very surprised how light the flavor is, though there is a nice bitterness in the finish. Most of the body is a bit too thin, really. A nice beer, but really lacks where it matters...on the tongue!

Very dark pour out of the bottle. The first scent is spice with cloves. The taste is cloves with a hint of coriander. Not to thick for the color and goes down smooth. I would guess this is like a milk stout but not as heavy. Very enjoyable taste as long as you only have one or two a night.

Thick light brown head with excellent lacing. Dark and clear mahogany body. Aroma was sweet with toasty caramel and spices perhaps. Initial taste is a little sweet like light maple syrup and molasses. Finishes with a little bitterness. Good full flavor... excellent and enjoyable.

This looks like a stout or porter-very dark with tan head. Smells very spicy, finishes like a weak porter.

dark reddish brown with a nice light brown head. aroma is nutmeg, and almost old-spice like with a light roastiness. flavor has some of the spices, but is a fair amount sour, and surprisingly thin-bodied an watery. little more spiciness in the finish.
