HonkeyBra (1275), Lemont, Illinois, USA Apr 12, 2008 Pours pitch black with a nice milk chocolate colored head. The beer looks great. The aroma is chocolate, burnt malt, some coffee. The taste is the same, chocolate and coffee very well-balanced. Mouthfeel is perfect for a porter. I admire Anchor, because you can tell they put a lot into their beers. Always a good choice. donrajin (233), Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, USA Apr 7, 2008 Just can’t go wrong with an Anchor beer. All their beers are great. This is just another example. Nice full flavored porter with a beautiful creamy head. A must have for porter fans. bermod (118), Lappeenranta, Finland Apr 7, 2008 Delicious aroma is roasted and burnt malt with syrup, coffee, chocolate and hops...
