Tejas (613), Dallas, Texas, USA Jan 22, 2005 I didn’t think much of this one at first but as I whittled my way through the 6er; it’s grown on me. It could stand to have some more flavor but overall it’s a nice light crisp summertime brew. It is too expensive though. It’s not worth the $8.49 I paid. For that reason alone, I won’t drink it again. There are better beers for the same $.
PaulHegedus (169), Brampton, Ontario, Canada Oct 18, 2008 Draught at the brewery, August 2008. This was the weakest offering on tap. Poured golden with a small head in a slender half pint glass. Aroma of grass and citrus. It was refreshing and light, good for summer, but for the most part reminds me of low end North American wheat ales. Tasted lemon with some grassiness. Narnad (156), Wonder Lake, Illinois, USA Sep 25, 2008 Pours golden with great carbonation and a solid thin head. The nose detects a definite wheat aroma with some pils mixed in. Flavor is very dry with pear and wheat A lingering sweet staleness lingers after beer has gone down. Not what I was expecting from a good brewery but an ok bland beer. Wulfstan (481), California, USA Sep 21, 2008 Updated: Sep 22, 2008This is ok, a pretty mediocre item considering the make.
It’s darkish gold with a fairly big off-white head slowly shrinking to thinner, creamy top with decent lace. The smell is honey, grain, pear. The taste is light lemon, crackers, too dry and roughly bitter. It’s ok, but barely and os not good with food, being too thin, roguh, bland, and bitter. blklab2007 (595), Connecticut, USA Sep 18, 2008 bottle poured a yellow golden color with a one finger white frothy head. aroma has wheat, light malt, and some corn or grains. mouth feel is light with plenty of fine carbonation. flavor has some wheat, sweer malt, and late biting bitterness. finish is a little washed out with light bitterness and a touch of minerals. thirst quenching summer beer. downender (1672), Bristol, Gloucestershire, England Sep 16, 2008 Bottle from Corks, Bristol. Golden with a moderate white head and plenty of carbonation. Light grain aroma with some sweet malts. Flavour of lagery malt, a touch of corn with a slight bitter finish. Easy, rather bland summer drinking.
