I recommend! RedhawkFIN (20), Finland Oct 25, 2009 500ml bottle@Munich, Germany. Malty and sweet dark Doppelbock from the Kloster Brauerei. BenDover (125), Texas, USA Oct 21, 2009 Pours a deep mahogany/brown, bit of tannish foam that dissipates quickly. Odor is a bit sweet and cloying, as is the initial taste. Seriously, not sure what the big deal is, I’ve had much better DB’s than this one. tnkw01 (124), USA Oct 19, 2009 Recently, Tried this on a trip to europe, at the Andech’s Monastary. This is now the best beer I have ever tasted. In my opinion this is the most under-rated beers on the entire web site. Nice malty flavor. Smells like paradise. Everyone who loves dark beers has to try this one once in there life. Enjoyit (1695), Vadum, Denmark Sep 29, 2009 Clear amber of color with an off white head. An aroma of prunes, sweets and dried fruits. A flavor of dark fruits, malty and sweets.
