Bottle. Head was average, frothy and off-white which mostly diminished. Body was slightly hazy and some light cloudy particles were to be found. Colour was amber to brown. Aroma was caramel, grain, coriander, flowers, and light notes of banana. Light bodied with a thin texture and a soft carbonation. Light sweet with a metallic finish.

Dark brown, unclear. Lots of off-white head, but not lasting. Has a sweet aroma, lots of coriander too. Nice, dark palate. Perhaps notes of cerial in the aroma.

As usually, I prefer the dunkelweizen to its lighter hefeweizen counterpart. Perhaps it’s the fuller, toastier flavor.
